Missions : Extending the love of Christ beyond our walls

Our Mission Partners

At Friendship Church, our mission doesn’t end at the doors of our sanctuary — it extends into the streets, homes, prisons, and hearts of those in need. We are proud to support several Christ-centered ministries that are transforming lives, restoring hope, and shining the light of Jesus into the darkest places.

Each of these partners embodies the heartbeat of our church:

Love deeply. Serve faithfully. Bring hope boldly.

We don’t just support missions — we believe in them.

Together, let’s continue to carry the hope of Christ to our neighbors, our city, and the world.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16

We invite you to pray, give, and serve alongside us as we support these powerful ministries:

🌿 The Landing

Bringing refuge to survivors of human trafficking.

Born out of a dream to reach survivors falling through the cracks, The Landing opened in 2016 as Houston’s first and only drop-in center for trafficking survivors. Since then, they’ve served over 500 individuals, offering dignity, unwavering support, and a clear path toward healing, resilience, and empowerment. This dedicated organization has created a safe space where survivors can find solace, assistance, and the tools necessary to rebuild their lives.

Through street outreach, prison ministry, youth advocacy, and education, The Landing meets people right where they are — showing the love of Christ in both word and action. Their mission is clear, compassionate, and multifaceted:

“To walk alongside survivors with compassion and hope, just like Jesus would.”

Innerfaith Disciple House

Helping men break free and rebuild through the power of God.

Innerfaith Disciple House is more than a recovery program — it’s an empowering environment rich in support, guidance, and spiritual growth. This Christian character-building ministry walks side-by-side with men battling addiction and life-controlling habits. It leads them to healing through a personal relationship with Jesus, affirming the belief that transformation is possible for anyone willing to embrace the journey of recovery. Together, they learn to foster a spirit of hope, integrity, and resilience that will carry them through even the toughest seasons of life.

Their foundation is built on three pillars:

Surrender. Obedience. Service.

(SOS — the same posture Jesus modeled with the Father.) It is through these principles that men begin to experience profound transformations. Surrender allows them to release control, admitting their vulnerabilities and dependencies. Obedience guides them to follow divine principles that lead to a healthier lifestyle. Service encourages them to reach out to others, fostering a sense of community and purpose as they help those in need.

Lives are being restored. Chains are being broken. With each passing day, communities are witnessing miracles of transformation as individuals embrace the power of faith and love. Jesus is on the move, bringing joy and hope where there was once despair. Follow this journey of renewal, and be inspired by the stories of those who have claimed their victory through the grace of God.

Our Daughters’ House

Because every young woman deserves a future filled with hope.

When young women age out of foster care or unstable living environments, they’re often left to navigate life alone — vulnerable, unsupported, and overlooked. Our Daughters’ House exists to change that and to provide a stable foundation, helping them to regain their strength and find their place in the world.

Here, faith and family intersect in a Christ-centered home where young women are nurtured emotionally, physically, spiritually, and mentally. Through independent living and mentorship, they are equipped for a future they can sustain — and surrounded by people they can call family. This nurturing environment fosters personal growth, self-reliance, and empowerment, allowing these remarkable young women to develop the skills and confidence necessary for their journey ahead.
